Vintage inspired bohemian motherhood portraits

If you’ve been following my work for a while you probably recognize this cute duo right here. Michelle and her son zander have been in front of my lens more than a handful of time’s in the past few years haha!

Not only is Michelle just a gorgeous momma who fully embraces breastfeeding like a boss, but she’s one of the prettiest souls ( inside and out ). She has ALWAYS been down for whatever weird ideas I throw out there!

Before I went on maternity leave I wanted to knock out just one more creative photo session to feed my soul and this totally surpassed my vintage vibed boho breastfeeding session vision haha!!!

I think it’s so important to document breastfeeding at some point in your breastfeeding journey. As hard as it can be sometimes believe it or not you will miss it one day. There will be a time when thr thought os stopping depresses you or makes you sad.

The bond created during this time is truly unexplainable, and letting go of your baby needing you this way is beyond bittersweet.

I breastfed my second ( Ellie ) for 2.5 years and it was just a beautiful moment in time that flew by way too fast. I’m so glad that I took portraits of us along the way to cherish forever.
