Taking maternity portraits in the water is hands down one of my ALL time favorite things to capture!

Not only are they absolute works of art, but they feel very relaxing and help take some weight off your poor pregnant back for a hot minute!!

Getting in the water for your pregnancy portrait session does not have mean braving water up to your waist and getting smacked in the belly with waves.

( though I truly love those shots too haha )

Sometimes little pools or inlets of water are perfect to get the shot!

Playing around in the shallow pools of water during blue hour is so epic.

There’s just so much drama and color and the depth of the shadows and highlights make my creative soul smile.

Fortunately for us here in St Petersburg we have the most incredible beaches to create epic unique art for you!

This momma truly blew me away.

She rocked that stunning body chain!

Braved the intense wind as a storm started to roll in towards the end and then getting to a pool of water where tiny fish nibbled on her toes.

She truly slayed it!

One thing I love to do at your maternity session is make sure I get a ton of variety for you.

From sitting, laying, harsh light, back light, stoic poses to flowing fabrics I want each portrait to feel unique for each client.
