Level up your photography game without breaking the bank!
I’ve always been one to want the most bang for my buck, thanks to my nana for instilling that in me haha, your the real MVP!
I’ve always believed its not what you have, it’s how you use it. That right there is beyond true for photography!
You could have the best gear, I’m talking top of the line shit and if you don’t have the skill or knowledge you will not see those epic results. You do not NEED a ton of money to create some epic art or to take care of your gear
*** Please do get your gear serviced professionally – the tools below are only for OUTSIDE of your camera! Do not go messing around inside of your equipment! Now back to what I was saying…
Photography gear can be very expensive but some things you really do NOT need to break the bank with!
Let me help a fellow tog out! I got you!! Here are my top 5 budget friendly photography items I love using.
First up….. this thing is ALWAYS in my camera bag! I probably get the most use out of this handy dandy little lens pen!
Great for any smudges you might have on your lens, or for any dirt/ sand that might creep up in various places on your camera!
Being a FL photographer that means I practically live at the beach and there is always SAND everywhere!!!! I mean honestly probably the best $10 you’ll spend haha!
This little mini LED light is BOMB dot com! My only regret? Not having bought one sooner haha!
It comes with various light settings as well as pop on color gels! This is a awesome way to get some cool creative light in your images or simply to shine some light during low light situations so your camera can focus! I adore this powerful little thing!
Want to level up your self portrait game? I highly suggest a Interval timer!!! This allows you to capture a sequence of images rather then just one shot at a time! Perfect for capturing movement, or even self portraits where a typical wireless remote might not reach – and of course a great option if your camera does not have wifi or bluetooth capabilities!
I mean the image below pretty much says it all but…. damn! haha This prob one of my favorite purchases ever! I’ve used it for zoom meetings, films, taking fun creative portraits with some prisms as well as using it as a key light for some Off camera fun! It comes with a remote and changes to all sorts of different colors! Also.. I mean it’s like a light saber… literally. Let the inner child inside come play haha!
#5 DSLR, Mirrorless Camera Lens Cleaning bulb
This little thing is great for dirt / sand on your gear! This little puffer does a great job getting small sand particles out of my gear after each session! Especially after my switch to a mirrorless camera I’ve been extra stressed about sand! This definitely helps dissolve some of that for me!
Heck yes!! So many awesome ideas! Amazon, here I come!
